Benny the Bear visited our house tonight. Benny comes from Elizabeth's preschool with a backpack containing his toothbrush and a journal, among other things. Benny and Elizabeth thought that Daddy made a lot of noise working on that stubborn kitchen floor.
Tomorrow we will be meeting with the kitchen designer. I can't wait to see his ideas!
One of Bandit's quirks is that she really hates cameras. Most of the pictures we have show her trying to escape the lens. When she was a puppy, just the noise of the camera turning on sent her into hiding.Bandit got a boost from the Oxyglobin transfusion she had yesterday. She's feeling a little better, well enough to wag her tail, but she's still a very sick dog. Her PCV number was only 8 this afternoon, normal is 37+. Dr. Gary said they may try another immuno-suppressant drug (I think it was cyclosporine), tomorrow, and we also talked about the possibility of a blood transfusion from another dog. She looks very jaundiced, and at last report still had blood in her urine. He didn't have a gut feeling which way this would go, but said that by Wednesday or so of next week we would probably have a better idea. Treatment Options
PS: Back at you "Mrs. J". "Mrs. J" writes an interesting blog, and this little kitchen adventure got a mention.
